Brands Take Action is the brainchild of Upcause, a strategy and communications consultancy helping companies and CEOs navigate a new era of brand activism.

The idea for Brands Take Action came during the upheaval of 2020. Through their work together at Upcause, Caroline Goggin and Kamari Guthrie received an onslaught of requests from companies seeking guidance on how to quickly and successfully respond to rapidly evolving crises like COVID-19 and Black Lives Matter.

Regardless of industry or size, these companies all faced the same challenges: How do we know we’re saying the right thing? How do we back up our words with concrete actions?

Recognizing the need for scalable and quickly deployable solutions for brand executives and marketing teams, Caroline and Kamari created Brands Take Action to help members act quickly, authentically, and with impact.
